What can you expect from the Castanea Fellowship experience? Place-based immersions to stretch your imagination and an opportunity to build solidarity and power with folks on the ground doing amazing food sovereignty work. Cohorts 1 and 2 spent time with our friends at Malama Huleia at Alekoko Fishpond on Kauai where they're working to sustain the restored Hulē‘ia watershed in ways consistent with traditional Hawaiian beliefs and practices.
If you're a food systems leader looking to take your work and leadership to the next level, visit our Apply page today. Applications for our third cohort are now open.
Have questions or want to learn more about the fellowship? We will be holding an informational webinar on Thursday, August 25 at 10-11:30 pst. Join us to learn more about the application process, what to expect from the fellowship program, and hear from current fellows as they talk about their experience and what Castanea has offered their leadership journey. After the gathering, all registered participants will receive a recording of the webinar.
